This morning, the Pride Business Association (PBA) brought together a cross-section of LGBTQIA+ professionals for its signature Long Table Breakfast, a monthly networking event designed to build meaningful connections, foster collaboration, and champion queer success in business.
Held at the stunning Canva Space in Surry Hills, a workplace and community hub created by Australian tech giant Canva, the breakfast offered more than just great coffee and delicious breakfast. It was a celebration of diversity, inclusion, networking and the power of coming together.
A Venue With Purpose
With its warm, plant-filled interiors, creative energy, and sustainability-driven design, Canva Space set the perfect tone for the morning. More than just a coffee-shop the venue is a community-focused hub that regularly opens its doors to host events that align with its mission to do good. Canva’s commitment to social impact and giving back made it a natural fit for this PBA gathering, and their ongoing support of the LGBTQIA+ community is one of the many ways they’re helping create positive change beyond the tech world.
Who Was at the Table
The morning was hosted by Alex Tinsley, a PBA Board Associate and proud Managing Director of Master Real Estate. Alex welcomed guests with warmth and wit, setting the tone for a relaxed and engaging networking session.
Among the attendees were:
- Matt Pirozzi, Mortgage and Finance Broker at KL Private Clients
- Anthony Barbara, Director and Senior Broker and Jayden Ralph, Broker at AJB Insurance
- Philippe Smets, founder of Chocolat Philippe, whose artisan treats are as charming as they are delicious
- Michael Rogers, founder of Love Property, known for his client-first approach to real estate
