The Pride Business Association (NSW) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Bouyamourn as a new Board Associate – Events. Jessica will be taking the lead on Lemons, the beloved monthly networking event for women who love women, their friends and Allies, which will return monthly from September in its new home at Teddy’s Upstairs at The Warren View Hotel in Enmore.

Jessica brings with her extensive experience in the finance industry, where she has built a reputation for balancing sharp professional focus with a strong dedication to creating inclusive, people-first workplaces. Her key interests lie in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and in elevating the overall people experience.

Beyond her professional career, Jessica has long been an active contributor to the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a proud Community Advisory Board member for Queerspace at Drummond Street Services, a passionate activist, and a skilled project manager across corporate, social justice, and LGBTQIA+ networking initiatives.
Her appointment to oversee Lemons reflects her deep commitment to connection, visibility, and joy within the queer community. Jessica describes her involvement as “an immense privilege” and is passionate about curating and evolving the event for future generations.

First established in 1999 and now a Sydney queer institution, Lemons has been a vital gathering space for our community. With Jessica’s leadership, the event is set to thrive once again, offering attendees a joyful and welcoming place to connect, network and celebrate community.

“I am very honoured to join the Pride Business Association (NSW) and specifically to contribute to the legacy of Lemons. As a Sydney institution it’s a privilege to support an event for all women and non-binary folks who love women, who network, who want to connect and who are looking for a joyful, safe and welcoming space.
We’ve found a great home at Teddy’s Upstairs at The Warren View Hotel in Enmore. The crowd that’s been attending Lemons has been warm, friendly and diverse. We intend to continue growing into the future to re-establish a strong monthly presence in the Sydney queer calendar! Hope to see all you beautiful women who love women soon!!
