Fresh Connections and Vibrant Surprises at Fruits: Sydney July 2025

After a jam-packed Pride Month celebration at Stonewall Hotel, Fruits: Sydney returned to its beloved home at Mezzanine House for a more intimate but equally vibrant evening of connection, community, and a little theatre sparkle.

Hosted by the Pride Business Association (PBA), the July edition of Fruits: Sydney welcomed over 90 LGBTQIA+ professionals and Allies for an evening of networking, nibbles, and a few fabulous surprises.

Mezzanine space buzzed with familiar faces and new introductions. New Fruits: Sydney Board Associate, Henry Burgoyne was at the sign-in stand with a warm and welcoming vibe.

PBA President Jarrod Lomas took the mic to share updates about the association’s upcoming calendar, including:

• 30 July – Small Business Virtual Networking with GLOBE Victoria
• 2 August – PBA Walk & Lunch: Watsons Bay to Rose Bay
• 5 August – Long Table Breakfast
• 7 August – Fruits: Parramatta

Everyone is welcome at the PBA! Check out our upcoming events.

Fruits Sydney: July 2025 – New Strategy Director Shane Flatman and PBA Member Arthur Dann.

Vice President Ricky Hamilton announced the evening’s lucky door prize winners, who scored:

• 2x Double Passes to HIR by Taylor Made Productions at New Theatre Newtown

HIR, described by The Guardian as “a comedy with a serious conviction in the emancipatory power of radical thinking,” is currently running at New Theatre – one of Australia’s longest-standing independent theatres. Learn more or grab your own tickets at newtheatre.org.au.

This month’s winners were Fruits regulars John-Eric Xavier from Xavier Hinde Interiors and Kevin Yap from WaterNSW.
