On Saturday, Paddington Town Hall was transformed into a dazzling hub of community, commerce, and pure joy as the annual Buy Rainbow market returned!
The event, dedicated to showcasing and supporting businesses owned and operated exclusively by the LGBTQIA+ community, drew a massive crowd eager to spend their ‘pink dollars’ locally.
From the moment the doors opened at 10am, the atmosphere was electric. Guests were treated to an unparalleled day of shopping and entertainment, reinforcing the event’s powerful mission: celebrating pride through economic empowerment. The popular Fruits Lounge provided a perfect chill-out spot, while the highly anticipated, and FREE, Star Dogs were a huge hit with guests lining up for a lunch-time snack. Packed goodie bags added an extra layer of fun for attendees.
A Stage Full of Stars
The entertainment lineup ensured the energy never dipped. The Fabulous Wonder Mama engaged crowds with her Create and Make Workshops and led the Official Buy Rainbow Walking Tour, visiting every single stall with her trademark flair.
A major highlight was the launch of the Buy Rainbow Shopping Network (BRSN), expertly hosted by the legendary King of All Media, Benjamin Starr. The main stage also came alive with phenomenal performances, courtesy of the Sydney Show Girls, featuring the incredible talents of Rhys Lighning, Kelly Ann Doll, Kat Abolic, Sinn Flor Escence, and Felicity Frockaccino. Their dazzling sets added sparkle and spectacle throughout the day.
Celebrate Our Stallholders: Buy Rainbow Every Day
The true heart of the day, however, was the incredible array of businesses and organisations. We want to celebrate all our phenomenal stallholders who showcased the diversity and entrepreneurial spirit of our community.
The beauty of Buy Rainbow is that you can support these businesses all year round! We encourage you to continue spending your pink dollars with these inspiring enterprises by visiting their websites below.
A Huge Thank You
An event of this scale is only possible through generous support. The PBA extends a massive thank you to our incredible sponsors: City of Sydney, Star Observer, and Syd Show Girls. Your commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and local businesses is invaluable.
The success of Buy Rainbow 2025 has set a new benchmark, and we can’t wait to do it all again. We look forward to seeing you when Buy Rainbow returns in 2026!
