The Pride Business Association’s August edition of Fruits Parramatta brought together 25 LGBTQIA+ professionals and allies for an evening of connection, conversation, and community spirit at the stunning Bar30 Deck at PARKROYAL Parramatta.
Our guest list spanned a wide range of industries: from lecturers and real estate agents to event organisers and influencers, proving once again that the PBA network thrives on diversity and collaboration.

With our regular host Stephen Haggett returning from holidays, the night was steered with charm and energy by PBA Events (Fruits Sydney) BA, Henry Burgoyne, who kept the evening flowing and the introductions buzzing.
Prizes, prizes, prizes
This month’s lucky door prize table was overflowing, with winners Graham, Aral, Sam, Ahmed, and Chad walking away with:

Member Spotlight
One of the highlights of the evening was our Member Spotlight, where PBA business members are given 60 seconds to share their elevator pitch and shine a light on their work.
This month, the spotlight went to Sam Henderson from Sam Henderson Coaching. A life coach and hypnotist, Sam helps clients uncover their most authentic selves by peeling away the layers of conditioning, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs. With humour (and a reassurance that no one would be hypnotised into clucking like a chicken), Sam compared the process to Michelangelo revealing the statue of David by removing what’s unnecessary to uncover the masterpiece within.
Sam also invited attendees to join the next Authenticity Temple session, a guided meditation and subconscious change workshop designed to help shift inner narratives and make lasting change feel effortless.
